Vamana Resort is located at Gili Trawangan, It take approximately a 20 minute away from Lombok by outrigger  motorboat or 1,5 hours fast boat from Padang Bay Bali. Gili Trawangan is the largest of Lombok’s Gili Island and the only one to rise significantly (60m) above  sea level. Measuring 3 km long and 2 km wide,  it has a  population of around 1.500 people, whose  major industryis fishing and pearl farming. Gili Islands are definitely worth checking out for a few days, the beautiful gilis and white sand beaches  make it a lovely destination for those who want to get away from the crowd. Automobiles and motorized traffic are prohibited on the island by local ordinance, so the preferred  method of transportation is by foot and bicycle or the horse-drawn carriage called Cidomo.  Its great place for snorkeling and diving.
